Seeing the Civil War Through Global Glasses or Four Score and Many Years Ago, The World Went Marching On

An integrated interdisciplinary thematic study of the civil war era, 1850-1870. The Students will study the cultrue surrounding the Civil War Era. They will understand the cause and effects behind the downfall of the unity of the nation and its Reconstruction. Not only should students understand the connections between the government, geography, battles, and economics of the war, but also how culture was continuing to shape the United States.
