An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on The American Revolutionary War The Revolutionary War is important because it formulated the basis of the United State's principles that we still live today.
Analyzing this unit will help us to understand our history, our ancestry and heritage and also many of the paths that we choose today as a nation and as an influential member of the world community. The foundations of freedom, begun so many years ago, have been the guideline for concepts of Human Rights around the world. Through the History, Literature, Science, Mathematics, Music, Art, historical documentation and analysis of the time, we learn about the structure of war and independence, the value and strength of strong beliefs, rights relating to liberty and concepts of economics.
