Serfs Up! Fight for your Fief!

An integrated, interdisciplinary, thematic unit on the Medieval Times This is an interdisciplinary unit that gives students the opportunity to have an up close personal look at the feudal system and daily life in Medieval Europe. This unit will focus on the lives of different classes of people within the society through a study of literature, history, and art. It will show how the feudal/manorial system developed as central authority declined. It will also provide students with the framework for understanding the past as it relates to the present and the opportunity to examine which elements of the time period still hold ramifications for today.
