"Shake It Up, Baby!"

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit Exploring the Catalysts for Change: American Women From The 1830's to 1930. The study of change will assist students in acknowledging that change is ongoing and driven by the desire to improve the quality of life. This interdisciplinary/integrated unit is designed to give students the opportunity to analyze the impact of women on 19th and early 20th century culture, science, communication, literature, music, art, politics, and daily life, and the contemporary significance of this impact.
