So You Say You Want A Revolution? Or Buddy, Can You Ease Tom's Paine?

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Study for Middle Grades of the American Revolution from 1763-1781 The design of this unit will use an integrated thematic approach to learn about the American Revolution. The American Revolution was the moment of birth of our nation. The people, events, and philosophies came together in a most serendipitous fashion. This unit studies the events just before and during the war for independence from England, the concept of taxation without representation and its effect on the American people, and the causes of the American Revolution.
