Space exploration in the 21st century will answer new questions and provide more discoveries. Students must understand how the past effects the present community functioning through scientific technological advancements and how these advancements will contribute to future existence. Understanding the facts and components of space, in relation to Earth, helps students make choices of who they can contribute to the protection, economy, and advancement of the planet.
