The computer and other modern technologies are tremendously impacting business and industry. The ability to use modern technology and intelligently transform the wealth of data it provides into useful information is a basic skill that all children will need to become successful adults. If one of the goals of education is to provide children with skills for their future, teachers must begin incorporating these skills into the curriculum today. This purpose of this unit is to model the integration of technology in an integrated interdisciplinary thematic unit around the implements of recreational enjoyment we commonly call toys.
