The Algebra Strain or... If I Strain My Brain, Will I Have Fortune and Fame??? (Finding the relevancy of math in the workplace)

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Curriculum Unit relating math skills to carreers, home and life situations To answer the never-changing question: "Why do we have to learn this???" and also to provide counter-information for students who have the mind-set that math is unnecessary for their career choice. Due to the speed-of-light changes taking place in technology, this world is not the same world they have inherited where a person could get along, or even do well with out basic math skills.
