The Constitution: Tradition and Compromise or How the Rest Was One.

  • $5.50

An Integrated/interdisciplinary unit that explores the constitution: tradition and compromise. This interdisciplinary unit is designed for eleventh grade U.S. History. Often students view the Constitution as a static document which is irrelevant to their daily lives. Through the study of this unit, students will recognize that the Constitution is a living and transcedent document. Students will explore issues related to the Constitution---its philosphical foundation and impact on their daily lives. It is our hope that their studies will result in a better understanding of themselves as Americans.
