The Giant Jackpot Striking It Rich With The Great Diversity of the Lone Star State

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Study of the Geographical Regions of Texas Each of the four geographical regions of Texas exhibits a unique identity, as well as interacting with each of the other regions forming economic, educational, governmental, and religious bonds. This unit was developed to teach seventh graders 1) to fully examine each of the regions and how these aspects relate to daily life in Texas past, present, and future, and 2) to appreciate the "infinite Diversity in infinite combinations" that makes Texas an important link in the structure of today's society.
