The Miracle Machine: Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes ... and Everything In Between!

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Fifth Grade Study of the Human Body Everyday we rely on our bodies to think, move, breathe, eat, and sleep, yet we still don't completely understand its complex inter workings. Each student deserves the chance to become more in tune with this miracle machine. This fifth grade unit addresses the interrelationships of seven body systems including the circulatory, digestive, muscular, nervous, respiratory, reproductive, and skeletal systems.
