An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on Native Americans Adapting and Surviving The three most diverse Indian nations live in three different sections of the United States. The three tribes have strong similarities and contrasts in their daily lives. The students will gain awareness of the early nations; how they functioned and how the geography of the land influenced their daily lives which will then be compared and contrasted to local Indian tribes in the following unit.
