The Renaissance Mind: Galileo to Gates or The Guttenberg Press to The Internet or "I heard It Through The Grapevine" to "Radar Love"

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary Thematic Unit on The Renaissance Mind and How It Changed The World This period is characterized by a tremendous change in the transfer of knowledge, a rebirth of the arts, increase in world exploration, and major advances in science resulting in technological growth, all drastically changing daily life. This unit will address these areas and attempt to give insight into the conditions of this historical period, as well as, current and future implications. Students will understand how some of the changes during the Western Renaissance produced unexpected changes in the everyday life of people and have carried over to today's world.
