An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic, Standards-based Unit on Families Since our country is composed of people with many different cultures, races, and creeds, we need to learn how to be tolerant and respectful of all people and their similarities and differences. This unit will teach students to accept others and that our differences make us who we are.
