There's No Place Like Home Use it (Wisely) or Lose It!

An eighth grade integrated, interdiscioplinary thematic study of the effects of consumers on the earth. Very often, human beings fail to see or undersand the effects of their actions. Every day they buy and use products/resources that harm or destroy the environment. Awareness of environmental issues is essential to preserving the integrity of life on Earth. This unit explores the interrelationship with mand and Earth, the effects consumers have on Earth, and the responsibility of consumers related to Earth's resources.
