An interdisciplinary unit on the tirals and tribulations of growing up. Growing up happens to everyone, and is an important development in the mind, body and soul of each human being. Advertising, peer pressure, society, family, and friends influence students each day. Making friends is an important part of growing up. Friendship can build tolerance, understanding, and appreciation of the Diversity in our world. Students will learn that while all individuals grow in similar ways, each person's growth is individual and unique in many ways.
