An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on Vanishing America for Middle School. Students need to know that there is a delicate balance in nature and if it is upset in any way, our world will be adversely affected. We are only given so much and need to teach our students how to preserve it and prevent its destruction. Students will realize how the use of natural resources has changed from Native American times to the present.
