Trail of Tears to Trail of Cheers Or Who Is Crying Now?

An integrated, interdisciplinary unit on native American Migration. This unit will provide students with an opportunity to explore the migration habits of Native American tribes. Students will use a variety of rich promary and secondary sources to discover what caused some tribes to migrate while others did not and what effects the migration had on the Native American culture as represented through their art, music, dance, and literature.
