Triangles, Circles and Squares, Oh My!

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic, Standards-based Unit on Exploring the world of shapes through the eyes of a Kindergartener. Geometry starts with the basic knowledge of shapes. Shapes can be found all over the world. Finding shapes such as a circle, square, rectangle, diamond/rhombus, oval/ellipse, or star in different positions and sizes in various environments directly addresses the Arizona state standards as a fundamental understanding of geometry.
