TRY Cycling Through Nature's Cycles Recycle For a Better Life Cycle
An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit of Cycles in Nature Human activities play a vital role in maintaining the equilibrium of the biosphere. It is important that students understand the mechanics of the natural cyclic processes and the impact that human activities have on the environment. Students will learn how these systems interact and how inappropriate management can have an adverse impact. Students will learn how energy and matter are recycled. Students will be able to predict how recycled energy and matter influence cyclic systems. Additionally, students will become more aware of the need for continued research so that informed public policy can be made to ensure appropriate management of the biosphere.
