An integrated, interdisciplinary 9-12 grade unit examining the impact of the European exploration and development of America on the Native People of North America 1492-1880. Knowing where you came from is important to knowing who you are. This will give students a look at how and why their nation began and grew into what it is today. The unit will explore the economic, religious, and political aspects of the colonization and expansion of North America.
