An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit in 11th Grade U. S. History and Language Arts Examining the Gilded Age, 1865-1914 This unit provides an integrated approach for 11th grade American History and Language Arts students to study the Gilded Age. It allows students to view the United States' progression to an economic and political world power. Students will gain a perspective of a rapidly changing society anchored by universal human needs and behavior.
