These rivers provided the people with water, food, and a means of transportation and trade. From the writings and the artifacts that have been uncovered, archaeologists can conclude that these civilizations valued family, work, recreation, religion, and art. The daily lives of these early people mark the beginning of the civilization that we experience today.
