An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Fourth Grade Unit on Michigan Economy Students will understand how Michigan's economy has evolved, due to the geography and culture of the area. This unit will teach students how the economy of Michigan affects their role as a consumer and as a worker. The unit will explore the economic conditions of Michigan from the 1800's to present.
