An integrated interdisciplinary unit for 8th graders on the Industrialization of America 1860-1900. This unit was developed to provide middle school students with an opportunity to study the impact of the Industrial Revolution on American society. In the years between 1860 and 1900, the United States saw dramatic change associated with the growth of industry, trusts, labor unions, Immigration, and cities.
