An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Study of Multicultural America America is a nation built by immigrants from all corners of the world, and with each set of immigrants came a rich and diverse cultural heritage. If our students are to be empowered through education to become successful, productive citizens in a population of such Diversity, it is important for them to learn to recognize and respect other cultures so they can live and work cooperatively with their fellow citizens, regardless of cultural, racial or linguistic differences.
