An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit Investigating the Concept of Exploration Throughout History and Beyond. Exploration has changed and shaped North American history, as well as world history. This unit is designed to help students see the historical importance of exploration. In addition, exploration is a recurring theme in the Anchorage School District Social Studies curriculum.
