Weather, You Like It...Or Not!

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Middle School Unit on Weather Patterns The students will learn about the fundamental causes of weather patterns, how various aspects of the weather are measured, the effects of weather on many aspects of life, and how to recognize patterns in the weather. Students will identify and understand weather patterns on a local level as well as patterns that create different climates in different parts of the world. The recognition and analysis of patterns builds thinking skills. Understanding the causes and effects of weather is an important part of understanding science.
