An Integrated Intra-Disciplinary Thematic unit based on Trigonometry. Trigonometry is a key to understanding topics ranging from electrical currents to modern telecommunications. In the real world, every kind of periodic behavior can be modeled with any degree or accuracy by combining sine functions. Students will understand the six trigonometric functions and how they relate to the unit circle and the right triangle. Students will be able to solve and model real-life problems using trigonometry.
