When You're Hot You're Hot! or When you're Not You're Not! or Move over, Particle, There's a Whole Lot a' Vibratin' Goin' On!

An integrated, interdisciplinary, thematic unit on heat. Beginning school in August in unairconditioned classrooms is common, uncomfortable, and potentially dangerous situation for students in Wichita. Additionally, last winter's jump in heating costs and the continued threat of global warming make the topic of heat relevant to student's lives now and in the future. Understanding heat will enable students to make better economic, lifestyle, and personal choices, decisions.
