An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Study of the Civil War. Each generation must be apprised of the important events that change the world in which they live:
1) Students will gain an understanding of the sentiments the North and South had regarding slavery,
2) Identify causes and effects of the Civil War,
3) Compare the views of the Confederacy and the Union governments.
