An Intergrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on Friendship For First and Second Grades Making friends is a skill necessary for life-long happiness. People of all ages place importance on developing strong friendships. Students need to acquire intra and inter personal skills to develop social connections. This unit will focus on teaching children how to acquire the social skills necessary to foster healthy and positive relationships.
