World War I, The War to end all Wars....Not!

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Study of World War I. This unit is designed to give students an understanding of the causes and effects of World War I and the lasting effects it had on the countries of Central Europe and the United States. It will also help students understand how the geography changed as a result of the war and how those problems that started the war are still present today. Finally, students will understand the political and economical climate of the region before and during the war.
