World's Highest Standard of Living There's No Way Like the American Way Justice is for the Birds Where the Sidewalk Ends
A Study of To Kill a Mockingbird and the 30's South In the formative years of middle school and junior high school aged students, the development of a sense of values is of prime importance, both for decisions and relationships in these difficult years and for decisions and relationships in adult life. By examining the ideas of competition and cooperation through a study of To Kill a Mockingbird and of life in the 1930's, we hope to encourage students to explore their own motivations and actions and to consider whether the situation calls for competition or cooperation.
