An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit of Geography for Grade 3. In today's mobile society, students face the challenge of understanding the world's geographical uniqueness. Students need to understand and appreciate the physical layout of the earth. This third grade unit will address map symbols, map legends, directions, seven continents, four oceans, the major landforms, and valuing our earth.
