An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Study of Ancient Egyptian Life and Culture for 7th Grade Egyptians were the first recorded civilizations. They contributed many ideas and products to today's civilization. Examples of some lasting products are the pyramids, the calendar, and the written records/symbols of their lives. Students should have an understanding for the greatness of human achievements in ancient Egypt and effects on people today.
