An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic, Standards-based Unit on based on the 1960's In times of war, social unrest and changing ideology, the decade of the 1960's was a critical time in American History. Students will recognize and identify the contributions of groups and individuals and how their political stances made a difference for their people then and now. This unit will examine the societal issues, economic status, and family dilemmas of the 1960's.
